We have dedicated a significant amount of engineering effort to develop a short, TFA firing mechanism that prioritizes safety, reliability, and consistency. Our meticulous design process was followed by comprehensive testing to validate the functionality. The results of our rigorous testing indicate that this design successfully passes all standard tests and demonstrates exceptional resistance to accidental discharge resulting from drops. To enhance its stability, the mechanism is neutrally balanced and operates under robust spring tension, effectively preventing disengagement in the event of a drop. Additionally, as a precautionary measure, we have incorporated a hammer catch in the design. This feature ensures that the hammer does not make contact with the firing pin unless the trigger is intentionally pulled, even in the rare event of significant shock to the AR causing disengagement between the hammer and the sear.
The geometry was designed with significant engagement for a positive lockup, plus it gives each client the best experience.

The TFA BYOT offers an exclusive line of high-end performance variations of our most popular models. We are in the early stages of developing this new .308 and are delighted with the response we have seen. We are working hard to bring additional features to the BYOT but do not offer custom work in the near future.
